ROKON JET! | Collaboration | Pokemon × AIRDO

ROKON JET HOKKAIDO will be available on 1st December, 2021.

HOKKAIDO, POKEMON, and AIRDO announced that they started the new service. They draw the Pokemon characters on the body of AIRDO Jet, whose Jet name is ROKON JET and it will be on the 1st of December, 2021.

1. What is ROKON JET HOKKAIDO?

• The Boeing 767-300ER (JA607A)
• Destinations: From/To:Tokyo(Haneda) ←→ To/From Sapporo(Shinchitose), Asahikawa, Hakodate Line and so on

• It will be available for five years from the 1st of December, 2021

2. The background of this project

Pokemon company has contracted with Hokkaido to collaborate a lot of measures with ROKON and Alola ROKON. AIRDO is positive about this project and decided to collaborate with them. They believe that this cute jet aircraft helps the local economy.

3. Why they chose Rokon?

Rokon and Alola Rokon are fox-ish Pokemon characters. Then they are assigned as PR characters because the fox is one of the animals which remind people of Hokkaido. Alola Rokon doesn’t look like a fox but it lives in the heavy snow area, so its image is more of an animal in Hokkaido.

4. You can get Pokemon amenities

A head-rest cover on the seat is the design of Rokon and Alola Rokon. The seat on the right side is the Rokon design. And another side is the Alola Rokon design, then the seat number of 37 is covered by the head reast of Rokon and Alola Rokon because Rokon’s Pokemon number is 37.

A flight attendant provides a special paper cup and apron for the drink service.

What’s more, you will get a special postcard and sticker if you request them.
