1. Definition

In computing, a firewall is a network security system that monitors and controls incoming and outgoing network traffic based on predetermined security rules.
A firewall typically establishes a barrier between a trusted network and an untrusted network, such as the Internet.

2. Stop suspicious Crocodile!!

The castle which VIVI lives in is your laptop or IT systems and Internet world is “Alabasta kingdom”. Firewall is “TONY TONY CHOPPER” who saves VIVI’s castle.

When a suspicious person is coming…

”Wait! Who are you??”, he stops him.

Firewall blocks Suspicious incoming traffic(computer virus)!!

3. Stop people who run away!

Not only from outside, but also from inside!

If residents in Alabasta kingdom who tries to go outside with important assets, Firewall stops them.

Monitor and block suspicious outgoing traffic!

That’s a Firewall job. Firewall monitors and blocks suspicious traffic.
Firewall doesn’t mean that it’s “A Wall of Fire“. Firewall is “A fireproof (or fire-resistant) wall“.
