J.League 2022 | Who will survive? vol.3

Three to Five games are left in the 2022 season, J.League(Japan professional football league). Yokohama F.Marinos beat Nagoya last weekend, and then they could reach the champion Schale(Petri dish). But, we can’t still predict which club will get relegated yet.

Who will stay in J1 League!?

Typhoon blew away Iwata vs Shimizu, so their points are the same as before last week. But how about other clubs?

Before the last game(29.09.2022)

Kobe and Kyoto got three points!

Kobe and Kyoto win the game, and both clubs have four more games. We can say their situation is getting better. Meanwhile, Fukuoka lost and they have only three more games. Fukuoka is the 16th place, so if they finish this place, they have to win the play-off to stay in the J1 league. They have to win two of three games at least if they want to secure their seat for next year because it’s a high possibility that Shonan and Kyoto will get more than three points.

J1 Table chart

Considering who they will play against, it is very difficult for them to get points. Their opponents still try to get the ticket for ACL. Especially, Kobe has matches with three top clubs, Hiroshima, Kawasaki, and Yokohama. Kobe has a lot of star players, but it will not easy to get points as looking back on their season this year.

Iwata’s last three matches are against G.Osaka, Kyoto, and Shimizu. It means that Iwata’s performance keeps affecting this survival even if Iwata gets relegated before the season finishes.

Nobody can predict the last result. This is Football, and this is J1 League.
