J.League 2022 | Last 5 Games, Who will survive? vol.2
Five games are left in the 2022 season, J.League(Japan professional football league). Yokohama F.Marinos is staying in the top position, and Kawasaki Frontale is chasing them as the second. And, this year two clubs will get relegated to the J2 league and one club is playing in the playoff against the club from the J2 league. So, at the end of the league, three clubs are facing relegation.
No club can’t lose any matches
Even Sapporo(11th place, 35pt) and Nagoya(10th place, 39pt) are facing risks to get relegated. They at least win more than one game to secure that they stand on the J1’s pitch next year. While 10 clubs are worried about their future, the 18th club is still having hope for next year. Iwata still can reach 39 points. Clubs on 12th – 18th places apparently struggle to get points this season. Is it too difficult for them to win more than two games?
You need to consider which clubs are against them if you predict the bottom two
It will be more difficult to win against the clubs which try to the top place. So, checking which club they play against will help to predict.
Iwata needs to win more than three of five games, but three of five clubs are the bottom 7 clubs. But the other two clubs are in 4th and 1st place, the original 10, Kashima and Yokohama. Iwata scores only 27 goals, the average is less than 1 goal every game. Do they have any scores to save the club?
Kobe which has the big sponsor hasn’t lost the last straight three games. But still, they have many problems and they need to beat at least one more club. And the last three of five clubs are in the top three positions. They have the potential to win the top three clubs, but supporters need to see the victories against Fukuoka or Shonan, to get relieved.
