Doutor Coffee Co., Ltd. announced that they would adopt some QR Code payment services like PayPay. They will be available from 1st of March 2021.
You have 9 new options though you can use some QR Code payment services already and percentage of cache less payment is over the goal of government, but they expect further expansion of cashless ratio.
Preventive measure for Corona Virus
This measure is not only for usability but also preventing corona infection.
If you use QR Code payment systems, you don’t have any opportunities to touch any body parts of cashers. Doutor Coffee aim to provide services with safe.
When I can start using QR Code payment？
You can already use QR code systems and cards but they add 9 new services on 1st of March 2021.
House prepay card (DOTOUR Value Card) , DOTOUR app, Traffic IC Money (Suica, PASUMO and so on) are already available.
