“piglyph” | the software draws illustration with your voice in real-time
Ricoh Company, Ltd. (RICOH) announced that they developed a new system “piglyph” which support visual communication with real-time illustration.
The RICOH’s team from their project “TRIBUS 2020” which supports their intrapreneurship and startup proposed this system.
1.What can you do with this software?
Sometimes it’s very difficult to tell people your ideas with words. This system is the solution to make your idea visible. RICOH provides “piglyph” which recognizes voices and input characters to illustrate in real-time, then this “piglyph” suggests you illustration on display, and you can choose one of them which is the closest to image in your brain. Whoever can easily express their ideas with drawing, and it helps people to share their ideas each other with interactive images.
Attendees can communicate their images interactively. Especially for online meeting, It’s more effective than communication based on only text. “piglyph” is still being developed with partners to enhance. In the future, it’ll be used for online live and Live workshop.
