SOTEN shows you Japanese quality

ACSL Ltd. announced that they started to receive the order of SOTEN, which is a small drone for aerial photography. This SOTEN is focused on security because recently not only the Japanese government but also other governments all over the world hesitate to adopt drones that have vulnerabilities about security.

SOTEN secures both high quality and high security, and this is the first drone which the Japanese government corporated to develop and use the achievements to make mass production.

1) “Protecting technology”

SOTEN has the protection for leaking data and hucker attacks based on ISO 15408. The main body parts are adopted reliable products from Japan and overseas to enhance security for network connection and encrypt the data.

2) Changing the camera with one touch

There are several types of cameras. Normal camera, thermographic camera + visible light camera, multi-spectrum camera, and optical zoom camera. And this is the first drone that you can exchange those cameras with one touch.

3) High flight capability as an aircraft on site

With a maximum airspeed of 15m/s, it is wind resistant and can be used safely even in harsh environments such as disasters. In addition, it is equipped with SLAS/SBAS that can grasp more accurate position information in Japan and grasps accurate position information such as disaster investigations. It allows you to take off and land more safely when you need to.

4) Wide range of expandability

With the use of LTE communication, it is possible to operate a drone via the Internet. Therefore, it will be possible to fly out of sight (Level 3) without an assistant by automatic flight in mountainous areas or remote areas such as in plants. By utilizing the offline map, you can display the offline map on the base station application on the control side and let the drone fly automatically even in an environment where the Internet cannot be used. We are also developing a mount for mounting the camera on the upper part of the aircraft, and it is also possible to take inspection images of infrastructure equipment from below.
